Cynthia D. Thornton is a woman who

knows what it means to walk through the fire

and come out refined by God. She is a survivor of

many miracles. Born and raised in Oklahoma City and

now living in Texas, Cynthia has spent more than 36 years serving in the medical field. But it was not just her hands that helped others heal. It was her heart, her prayers, and the power of her testimony. Her book, Medical Mistakes Overcome by Miracles, tells the story of a journey that only God could carry her through. She has survived over twenty surgeries, three pulmonary embolisms, sepsis, a stroke, premature births, and more. There were days when doctors had no answers, but Cynthia learned that the Great Physician always did. What should have taken her out became the very thing God used to build her up. Today, Cynthia stands as a living testimony of God's healing power and grace. She ministers to others from a place of experience and compassion, helping them see that their pain has purpose. She believes healing is not just for the body but also for the soul, and she is on a mission to help others find it through faith, prayer, and the Word of God. Her affliction became her assignment.
